A moving film set in the midst of the AIDS epidemic as two men start a buyers club to get an experimental drug from Mexico. This film is brilliantly lead by Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto
Get Out
A soft horror by Jordan Peele for people who don’t like horror films, which shines a light on racism in the US, especially the passive kind. With a great performance from Daniel Kaluuya, this is a very strong watch.
Million Dollar Baby
Mags wants to be a professional female boxer and needs a coach to take her to the top. An emotional film with some big twists featuring brilliant performances from Hillary Swank and Clint Eastwood with Morgan Freeman narration make this a knockout .
Roma
An understated film which takes a while to gt going, but has a worthy pay off. Roma follows a servant in a Mexican household in a time of conflict and proves an emotional watch.
Schindler’s List
An incredibly important historic movie about the holocaust. It shows the worst in people and the best in others. It’s not an easy watch and is three hours long so make sure you are ready for it.
